TSB: Mini Tie Rod

This bulletin applies to MINI Convertible vehicles built March 19,  2019 and Countryman vehicles built March 15 through April 8, 2019. The cone collar disc on the tie rods may not have been installed. Check both tie rods for a missing cone collar disc.  Remove and discard the tie rod nut. Release the tie rod from the swivel bearing. If the cone collar disc is installed, no knurling will be visible on the stud shank. If the collar disc is missing, knurling will be visible. Replace the tie rod and swivel bearing and perform  wheel alignment.
