Clean the area and check whether there is moisture underneath the protective sleeve. If there is no moisture in this area, re-assess the complaint and continue evaluating the rest of the brake system. The photo here shows a dry state.

Traces of moisture/contamination and/or a warning lamp indicating a leak in the brake system may be encountered. Evidence of moisture may be seen on or or both of the rear brake calipers.
Assembly fluid was used in the supplier’s production process. The moisture that is visible does not necessarily indicate that there is a leak at one or both rear calipers. This may simply be residue from assembly fluid.
