This bulletin applies to 2021-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles built on or after Nov. 11, 2021, and on or before Jan. 1, 2022, equipped with a 5.7L V8. The MIL may be on, accompanied by DTC P0441 (EVAP purge system performance) and/or P0452 (EVAP pressure switch “A” stuck closed).

Inspect the purge tube at the elbow on the intake manifold. The purge tube may be inserted too far into the elbow.

Pull the nylon tube from the rubber elbow until the bead is positioned at the edge of the elbow. Make sure that the elbow is seated properly at the intake manifold. Clear DTCs.
