This bulletin applies to 2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicles built on or before March 10, 2022, and equipped with a 2.0L I4 turbo PHEV, 2.0L I4 turbo E-torque or 2.0L I4 turbo engine. A coolant leak and/or low coolant level may be found.

Pressure check the cooling system. If a leak at the water pump inlet tube is found, remove one fastener and apply Mopar 04318031AC or equivalent to one of the fastener’s threads. Install the water pump inlet tube fastener and tighten to 97 in-lb. Remove the other water pump inlet tube fastener and apply the thread sealant to that fastener and tighten to 97 in-lb.

Wait 10 minutes after the last fastener was installed prior to pressure testing again, or run the engine to allow for the blue locking adhesive to cure.
