When diagnosing DTC P0101 for “MAF SEN/CIRCUIT-B1” when stored in the ECM:

  1. Inspect the following for any leaks and correct before proceeding:
    • Any loose duct clamps at the air cleaner, MAF sensor and electric throttle body actuator.
    • An incorrectly installed air filter and air filter cover.
    • Damaged air intake components.
    • Aftermarket air intake components.

     2. Check for any other possible sources of an air leak.

If an air leak and/or a loose duct clamp is found, repair the leak and do not replace the MAF sensor. If an air leak and/or a loose duct clamp is not found, perform the MAF component inspection.
