This bulletin applies to 2020-2023 Chevy Blazer vehicles. Some customers may experience a vibration-type noise at highway speeds or with engine speed at 1,300-1,500 rpm, heard from under the vehicle.

The cause of the condition may be that some of the metal gasket tabs between the front exhaust and muffler are not fully crimped, exhibiting some spring-back, allowing them to touch at certain speeds/rpm.

With a small punch or chisel and hammer, bend/crimp the tabs on the exhaust gaskets in further to prevent any spring-back and provide increased clearance between the two tabs. Cutting the tabs off of the gaskets is also acceptable.
