This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Buick Cascada vehicles equipped with an LWC engine and MH7 transmission. The MIL may be on and DTC U0101 may be set. Review the appropriate SI diagnostics for this DTC. Before replacing any parts, check the following:

- Check underhood fuse block for damaged terminals or the poor terminal fit and mispositioned fuses.

- Inspect the TEHCM grounds. Refer to SI automatic transmission controls schematics to determine ground identification (G106, G107, etc.), then the master electrical component list to determine the location of the ground.

- Powers and grounds should always be load checked o make sure the circuits are able to work properly.

- Check the harness for rubbing through on any sharp objects, mainly on top of the transmission where the harness can contact a sharp area on the block.

- Inspection of the transmission connector pins for damaged terminals or poor terminal fit. After the inspection is complete, reconnect using dielectric grease.
