Inspecting Chevy Equinox Rear Harness

This bulletin applies to 2018 Chevy Equinox vehicles. The MIL may be on. “Service AWD” or “Keyless Start” messages may be displayed. The rear BEC fuse may be open.

This bulletin applies to 2018 Chevy Equinox vehicles. The MIL may be on. “Service AWD” or “Keyless Start” messages may be displayed. The rear BEC fuse may be open.

The cause: the wiring harness may be pinched between the body and seat bracket behind the rear seat. Fold the setbacks down. Remove the rear cargo area trim to access the harness. Inspect for damage and repair as needed.
