Fixing Lincoln Shifting Problems

Some 2013 Lincoln MKX, MKS and MKT vehicles equipped with a 6F50 or 6F55 transmission and built on or before Sept. 22, 2012, may exhibit a concern of an intermittent no upshift or a perceived stuck in first gear with no DTCs stored in the PCM.

Some 2013 Lincoln MKX, MKS and MKT vehicles equipped with a 6F50 or 6F55 transmission and built on or before Sept. 22, 2012, may exhibit a concern of an intermittent no upshift or a perceived stuck in first gear with no DTCs stored in the PCM. This condition may exist if the vehicle was not fully stopped in reverse before shifting to drive. A new calibration is available. Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 81.03 and higher.
