Replace Wrangler Tower Clip

This bulletin applies to 2012-2015 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. A MIL may be exhibited with DTC P0344 (camshaft position sensor intermittent...bank 1 sensor 1 set in PCM memory).

This bulletin applies to 2012-2015 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. A MIL may be exhibited with DTC P0344 (camshaft position sensor intermittent...bank 1 sensor 1 set in PCM memory). Remove the engine cover and locate the engine wire harness tower clip on the right side of the engine near the camshaft position sensor.

Remove the existing wire harness tower clip and install P/N 68289129AA tower clip in the same location on the wire harness. Engage the tower clip to the cylinder head cover.

The new clip should provide a tighter fit to the cylinder head cover. Repair any damaged wiring to the CMP harness near the connector. Clear all DTCs and reinstall the engine cover.
