Never Reuse Direct Injection Fuel System in Acura

This bulletin applies to all Acura vehicles equipped with a direct injection fuel system. Whenever service requires removal of the fuel joint pipe, keep in mind that this is a must-replace part and must never be reused.

Also, be sure to apply the polyethylene glycol lubricant from the replacement joint pipe kit and torque the joint pipe to specification. Failure to follow these precautions will lead to fuel leaks that could result in a fire.
