RAM Air Suspension Issue

June 28, 2021
This bulletin applies to 2014-2016 RAM 2500/3500 trucks.

This bulletin applies to 2014-2016 RAM 2500/3500 trucks. Equipped with Auto Level Rear Air Suspension and built on or before April 10, 2016.  The customer may state that the cluster stays awake after the ignition is turned off for 10 minutes or more.

A false message “Battery Voltage Low – Start Engine to Change Ride Height” may appear in the electronic vehicle information center (EVIC). This condition may occur when the vehicle is first started and the suspension is switched from alternate trailer ride height to normal ride height.

Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify that all related systems are functioning as designed. Record and repair as needed before proceeding.

Reprogram the ASCM (air suspension control module) with the latest software and clear any DTCs that may have set during the flash.
