Volvo Changes Fuel Pressure Sensor
This bulletin applies to all 2014-2016 Volvo models.
An intermittent ECM code P018C00 may be stored in addition to a MIL and check engine light. According to Volvo, if the vehicle is equipped with a Cooper low-pressure sensor (LPS) P/N 31478293/31405791, replace it with a new Sensata sensor P/N 31432653 that is included with a kit P/N 32242867 that includes a new feed line.
Note that the fuel line in the kit always needs to be replaced when replacing the LPS.
