Some 2015-2017 Ford Explorer vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P2195, P2197, P2626 and/or P2629 stored in the PCM.
Replace the affected heated oxygen sensor. DTC P2196/P2626 indicates the right side bank 1 sensor 1. DTC P2197/P2629 indicates the left side bank 2 sensor 1. Both right and left sensors are available under P/N 8F9Z-9F472-H.
