Owners of 2016-2017 Cadillac ATS or CTS vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine may comment about a check engine light on, a no-start condition, stall and/or reduced propulsion. During diagnosis, DTC P0606 (control module processor performance) set in the ECM. The cause maybe a software anomaly in the ECM.
If you encounter this condition, do not replace the ECM. Reprogram the ECM with the latest available software. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module Programming Setup in the service manual.
