The MIL may illuminate, with DTC P0441 stored (EVAP purge system performance). The transmission light and/or transmission cooler freeze-up may be involved as well. This condition will typically occur when temperatures are below minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
The technician may also find DTC P0218 set (transmission high temperature operation activated). Updating the software will correct these conditions. Use software release 12.01 or higher.
