Loose Gear Shift Causes Problem in RAM Trucks

Some 2015-2016 RAM 2500/3500/4500/5500 trucks equipped with a six speed manual transmission may experience looseness in the gear shift lever, noise and additional effort to move the shifter into the selected gear. The shift lever rubber insert may not have been properly adhered to the metal shifter housing.

Some 2015-2016 RAM 2500/3500/4500/5500 trucks equipped with a six speed manual transmission may experience looseness in the gear shift lever, noise and additional effort to move the shifter into the selected gear. The shift lever rubber insert may not have been properly adhered to the metal shifter housing. The manual transmission shift lever must be replaced using P/N 68189341 AA along with new locking nuts 06104716 AA.
