Some 2018 Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition vehicles built on or before Sept. 5, 2018, may exhibit an overheating condition, low antifreeze/coolant, and/or a coolant leak at the rear of the vehicle.

Raise the vehicle on a hoist and inspect for an antifreeze leak from the rear of the vehicle, behind the right rear tire. If a leak is found, replace the rear climate control housing.

Refer to the workshop manual section 412-02. During the climate control housing replacement, inspect the electrical connectors for fluid contamination.

If contamination is present, clean the connectors using terminal cleaner and compressed air before reconnecting.
