AFM Exhaust Tone

Owners of 2010-2019 Chevy Camaros equipped with AFM (active fuel management) LT1/LT4 engines may comment on changes in the exhaust tone when AFM changes to  4 cylinder mode.

Some drivers may also notice a very slight vibration in either the accelerator pedal, floor pan or steering wheel.

This is a normal condition for AFM-equipped engines and no repairs should be attempted.
