Ram City Fuel Pressure

This bulletin applies to 2019 Ram ProMaster City vehicles built on or after Aug. 3, 2018, and on or before Aug. 13, 2018, and equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine. Customers may experience a MIL on. The technician may find DTC P018C (fuel pressure sensor circuit low) stored.

This bulletin applies to 2019 Ram ProMaster City vehicles built on or after Aug. 3, 2018, and on or before Aug. 13, 2018, and equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine. Customers may experience a MIL on. The technician may find DTC P018C (fuel pressure sensor circuit low) stored.

Using a scan tool (wiTECH), verify that all related systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs other than the one noted here are present, record and repair as needed before proceeding.

Replace the fuel pressure sensor/fuel line. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in Dealer CONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info 14 – Fuel System/Fuel Delivery, Gas/Sensor, Fuel Rail Pressure/removal and Installation.

A replacement fuel pressure sensor (line with sensor) is available as P/N 68338428AA.
