Park Brake May Drain the Battery

Some 2018 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit a battery draw resulting in a discharged battery. An electronic park brake (EPB) switch internal short may cause the ABS module to wake up, resulting in controller area network (CAN) system wake-up.

Some 2018 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit a battery draw resulting in a discharged battery. An electronic park brake (EPB) switch internal short may cause the ABS module to wake up, resulting in controller area network (CAN) system wake-up.

If the draw cannot be duplicated with fuse F70 removed, suspect the EPB switch.
