Metal Cruncher
Owners of 2008-2010 Mazda CX-9 vehicles may experience a metallic crunching/shudder effect when attempting a left or right turn with slight road incline at slow speeds of less than 9 mph.
1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Replace the ABS/DSC hydraulic-unit (A). Refer to MS3 online or workshop manual section 04-18 for the replacement procedure.
A new ABS hydraulic unit is available under P/N TD74-43-7A0D for 2008-2009 models; or P/N TE69-43-7A0A for 2010 models.
