Ford Diesel EGT

Some 2011-2012 Ford F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with the 6.7L diesel engine may experience a MIL on with any or all of the following DTCs:

P2031, P2032, P2033, P2471, P2084, P2479, P242A, P242D, P246E, P0544 and/or P247B.

Using the Ford IDS (Integrated Diagnostic System) or equivalent scan tool, check all continuous memory DTCs. If any/all of the previously-mentioned DTCs are stored, replace the EGT (exhaust gas temperature sensor).

• DTC P0544….replace EGT 11
• DTC P2031, P2032, P2033, P2084, P2479….replace EGT sensor 12
• DTC P242A, P242D…..replace EGT sensor 13
• DTC P2471, P246E, P247B….replace EGT sensor 14

A new EGT sensor is available under P/N AC3Z-5J213-B.
