Audi Auxiliary Coolant Pump Fail

This bulletin applies to 2012-2016 Audi A4, A5, A5 Cabriolet and Q5 models. If the MIL is sporadically on, one or more of the following DTCs may be stored in the ECM:

• P261A00 (coolant pump B control circuit open)
• P261B00 (coolant pump B control circuit range/performance)
• P261C00 (coolant pump B control circuit low)

This indicates that the continued coolant circulation pump is sporadically failing.

Confirm that one or more of these DTCs are present. Replace the auxiliary coolant pump, P/N 059121012B with the latest P/N 06D121601.
