Some 2013 Ford Explorer vehicles equipped with a 6F50 or 6F55 transmission and built on or before 9/22/2012 may exhibit a concern of an intermittent no upshift or a perceived stuck in first gear with no DTCs stored in the PCM.

This condition may exist if the vehicle was not fully stopped in reverse before shifting to drive. A new calibration is available.
