Some 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE or 2ZR-FAE engine may exhibit a MIL on, with DTC P2420 (evaporative emission pressure switching valve stuck off).

Some 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE or 2ZR-FAE engine may exhibit a MIL on, with DTC P2420 (evaporative emission pressure switching valve stuck off).

Using TechStream, check for stored DTCs. If P2420 is stored, replace the charcoal canister assembly.

Clear all DTCs and run the EVAP System Check utility using TechStream. Verify that no codes were set during the utility. Test drive and confirm the repair.
