Some 2012-2013 Lincoln Navigator vehicles built 9/1/2011 through 12/1/2012 and only equipped with an integrated keyhead transmitter (IKT) may exhibit intermittent inoperative operation of the IKT remote functions.

1. Using a thin coin in the slot near the key ring, pry open the IKT case.

2. Replace the gasket in both of the customer’s IKTs ensuring that the dimples face the battery.

New gaskets are available as P/N DC3Z-15K601-AA (one kit includes two gaskets).
