Funky Nissan fuel gauge
This TSB refers to erratic, inaccurate or inoperative fuel gauge readings on a variety of Nissan vehicles including 2005-2009 Frontier, Xterra and Pathfinder.
The MIL is on with DTC P0461, P0462 or P0463 stored in self-diagnosis.
The corrective action involves replacing the fuel level sending unit with P/N 25060-ZZ00A along with packing P/N 17342-EA000.
According to Nissan, do not replace the entire fuel pump assembly for this condition.
