Some 2012 Ford Escape hybrid vehicles built from 12-1-2011 to 3-15-2012 may exhibit a customer concern of a high pitch chirp/squeak noise coming from the front right corner while driving.

Some 2012 Ford Escape hybrid vehicles built from 12-1-2011 to 3-15-2012 may exhibit a customer concern of a high pitch chirp/squeak noise coming from the front right corner while driving.

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.

2. Locate the access hole between the right hand front fender splash shield and the front bumper cover.

3. Inspect the position of the windshield washer reservoir mounting bracket related to the body rail. A minimum clearance of 3/16-inch (5 mm) should be present. If not, adjust the bracket position to obtain clearance.
