The shape of the fuel injector support clip for 2008 Lancer Evolution, 2008-2009 Lancer and 2008 Outlander Mitsubishi 4B1 engines has been changed to improve stability when installed.

This involves injector support from Dec. 25, 2007, and injector assemblies on non-turbo engine from Jan. 21, 2008, and on turbo engines from Feb. 1, 2008.

The new injector support can be used with the older version injectors. However, the older injector support cannot be used with the new injectors and must be replaced together.
