As described in the WIS-net document AH00.00-N-0001-01A, it is mandatory that the nut threads on the axle mount be re-cut and blown out with compressed air.

Adhesive residue in the threads affects the strength of the bolt, even when the correct tightening torque and angle is applied. The bolt may bend and eventually break.:
