Hapless Honda Handles

This bulletin applies to 2006-2010 Honda Ridgeline, 2003-2010 Accord, 2006-2010 Civic, 2007-2010 CR-V, 2009-2010 Fit, 2005-2010 Odyssey and 2009-2010 Pilot vehicles.

The next time you’re removing a door panel, be very careful not to damage the inner door handle cable end. If damaged, the inner door handle might not work and you’ll have a come-back.

Before buttoning up things, check the cable end for any type of damage (full break, cracks, tears, deformation or discoloration from stretching). Any one of these can spell trouble and requires replacement of the cable end.
