Intake Learn Is a Joke

This bulletin applies to 2007-2012 Nissan Juke models, where the IAVL (Intake Air Volume Learn) will not complete, using CONSULT.

While the engine is running, disconnect the MAF sensor for 10 to 15 seconds until MIL P0102 or P010C comes on, then reconnect the MAF before performing IAVL.

If the vehicle has two MAF sensor, disconnect only one and leave the second one connected. Then reconnect the sensor.

The engine may stop running when idle reduction occurs. Reconnect the MAF sensor.

Clear any DTCs that may have set during MAF disconnect.

Perform IAVL. Confirm that idle is now within specification for the vehicle year. Refer to the electronic service manual for procedures to set IAVL and for idle specifications.
