Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify that all engine and transmission systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs are present, record and repair as needed before proceeding with PCV valve replacement.

The PCV valve is located at the upper rear right-hand corner of the intake manifold. Inspect the part number on the PCV valve (located on top of the valve). The correct PCV part number is 05038532AA. If the existing part number is different, replace the PCV valve with P/N 05038532AA. Estimated labor time is 0.2 hrs.
