More Mopar Programming

This bulletin applies to 2014 Dodge Avenger models equipped with a 3.6L engine. According to Chrysler, a “small number” of customers may experience a MIL on, and the technician may find DTC P0204 set (fuel injector 4 circuit/open).

Using a scan tool (wiTECH), verify that all engine systems are functioning as designed. Record and repair any additional DTCs.

Install a battery charger to ensure that battery voltage does not drop below 13.2 volts or rise above 13.5 volts during the flash process.

Reprogram the PCM to the latest software, then clear any DTCs that may have set in other modules.
