A “small” number of owners of 2013 Dodge Caravan RT vehicles may experience a MIL on, and the technician may find DTC P0456 (EVAP system small leak). According to Chrysler, this applies to vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine and built on or before May 7, 2013.

A “small” number of owners of 2013 Dodge Caravan RT vehicles may experience a MIL on, and the technician may find DTC P0456 (EVAP system small leak). According to Chrysler, this applies to vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine and built on or before May 7, 2013.

The fix involves reflashing the ECU with software release 13.04 or higher. Transmission enhancements are also included with this software release. Changes include 5/6 upshift timing adjusted to improve top speed performance.
