In some 2013 Chevy Silverado trucks equipped with a 6.0L engine, the MIL may be on with DTC P0420 (catalyst system low efficiency) stored.
This could occur as a result of an exhaust leak at the connection of the bank 1 catalytic converter outlet to the muffler inlet pipe. Replace the existing exhaust pipe clamp with P/N 23424562 and gasket 15036012. Tighten the new nut to 33 ft-lb.
