In this video, ATEQ discusses how technicians should use the VT36 or VT31 TPMS Activation Tool to reset TPMS on a Chevy Trax. Use the vehicle's owner's manual to locate the relearn steps required to reset the TPMS system and transfer new and existing TPMS IDs to the vehicle's DLC. Then, follow the series of steps, set by the manufacturer to put the vehicle into "relearn" mode, and use the VT36 or VT31 to activate each TPMS sensor. Once each sensor has been activated, the horn will chirp twice, indicating a successful transfer of the TPMS sensor IDs. The same manual or stationary procedure will work for the VT31, VT36, VT46 brands or the VT56.
