Women In Trucking to host two-day education and networking conference
The 2018 WIT Accelerate! Conference & Expo, which is hosted by the Women In Trucking Association, is being held November 12 through 14 in Dallas, Texas.
The focus of this two-day conference is to provide education, practical ideas and peer networking to better understand how gender diversity can positively impact careers and a company’s success, as well as the needs, challenges and opportunities faced by women in the transportation and logistics industry.
The Accelerate! Conference features more than 30 educational sessions designed to form skill-sets, strengthen productivity and business results through four segmented tracks:
- Leadership
- Professional Development
- HR/Talent Management
- Operations
The conference will also focus on best practices to see what companies in transportation and logistics are doing effectively to recruit, retain, support, and celebrate women in their workforce, peer-to-peer learning and networking opportunities, and will feature a expo of providers.
This conference is organized by the Women In Trucking Association, a non-profit organization with the mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles they face.
