The early bird registration deadline for the 2012 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) has been extended until Monday, April 30. By taking advantage of this special rate, attendees can save $200 off regular registration fees.

GAAS 2012, “One Industry, Endless Opportunities,” will be held Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago). To register using an electronic PDF form that can be returned via email or fax, visit  http://globalsymposium.org/registration.html.

In addition, the hotel reservation deadline for the Hyatt Regency O’Hare has also been extended until Monday, April 23. Rates of $175 (single or double) plus tax are guaranteed through Monday, April 23. Reservations can be made online at https://resweb.passkey.com/go/auf or by calling Hyatt Central Reservations at (888) 421-1442. Complimentary guest room Internet is included in the discounted room rate.

GAAS recently announced that this year's event will feature a special registration rate for companies to bring their leadership team. After a company pays full price for three individuals from their company to attend GAAS 2012, the fourth member and any other subsequent employees can register at the rate of $250.

Each year the net proceeds of GAAS are invested in the organization’s scholarship fund to help students get their automotive aftermarket career started. Additional scholarship funding comes from industry contributions from individuals, companies and foundations.

When attendees participate in GAAS 2012, they will receive CEU credits toward the University of the Aftermarket’s AAP/MAAP professional certificate program. GAAS has also been approved by NorthwoodUniversity for credit toward its Automotive Aftermarket Management degree.

The annual two-day Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium, now in its 17th year, brings together industry leaders and experts to examine the issues and trends affecting the worldwide automotive aftermarket and influencing its future.
