How the Lincoln 83753 Air/Water Hose Reel Is Built for Demanding Shop Use

This technician review covers the Lincoln 83753 automatic hose reel and the one job it does well: it keeps the hose available when you need it and out of the way when you don't.

Built for a shop. The base and guide arm are heavy-gauge steel stampings with reinforcing ribs, so the reel can take bumps and pulls. The steel components are powder-coated for corrosion resistance.

Easy to mount. A slotted base gives you room to adjust when your mounting points aren't ideal.

Holds where you set it. An eight-position ratchet locks the hose at the length you need.

Retracts on its own. A slight pull releases the ratchet, and the power spring brings the 50-foot hose back in. The spring is built for substantial retraction torque and long service life.

Feeds the way you need. The adjustable guide arm has five positions to suit where the reel is mounted.
