Still filling AWD differentials with a bottle and pump?
Most techs think of a fluid evacuator for pulling oil through the dipstick tube or emptying a brake reservoir. The Mityvac MV7100 does both. But the job where it really earns its spot may be the opposite direction: putting fluid in.
On newer all-wheel-drive vehicles, transfer cases and differentials can be extremely difficult to reach. Instead of fighting for access with an improvised setup, you switch the MV7100 to pressure mode and dispense gear oil through the right adapter, straight to where it needs to go.
It runs on shop air, so there's no manual pumping. A venturi generates vacuum, and switching to pressure takes a control on the handle and a quick configuration change.
