Motorcraft Extend vs. Motorcraft Pro: Which Parts Line Fits Your Shop or Fleet?
Ford is expanding its Motorcraft family of aftermarket parts with two new product lines: Motorcraft Extend and Motorcraft Pro. In this episode of "In the Driver Seat," host Eric Screeden speaks with Chris Wallace, U.S. parts operation and sales director for Ford Customer Service Division, to discuss why these lines were developed and how they support dealers, repair shops, technicians, fleet operators, and vehicle owners.
Motorcraft Extend is designed for owners of aging, post-warranty Ford and Lincoln vehicles, offering a Ford-backed, affordable alternative to aftermarket parts for high-volume maintenance and light repairs. Motorcraft Pro is built for fleet operators managing mixed fleets, providing a one-stop source for maintenance parts across Ford and non-Ford vehicles alike, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Wallace explains how both lines are backed by a Ford warranty, reinforcing trust among dealers, independent repairers, and fleet managers. He also shares the positive feedback Ford has received from dealers and customers since development began and outlines how these Ford OEM replacement parts fit into Motorcraft's long-term vision for supporting vehicles throughout their ownership journey.
