NexTraq, a leading GPS fleet and asset tracking company, announced that it has partnered with Fleetio. The integration provides both NexTraq and Fleetio customers the ability to streamline fleet management processes and reduce operational costs by offering comprehensive management of day-to-day fleet operations.

“As a leader in telematics, we are consistently striving to improve our solution for all of our customers regardless of their fleet size,” said Wyn Partington, vice president of marketing, NexTraq. “Integrating with Fleetio allows direct communication between NexTraq’s data and the preventive maintenance calendar in Fleetio, giving our users a more precise fleet management timeline and allowing them to realize the full benefits of both platforms.”

With this newest integration, NexTraq will automatically update the current odometer reading once per day for each Fleetio mapped vehicle , providing a significant timesaver in getting meter updates. By combing the strengths of both solutions, users are able to maintain the most up-to-date fleet data and maintenance schedules.

“We're thrilled to count NexTraq as an integration partner and together provide a seamless solution to chaotic fleet management processes, said Fleetio Founder and CEO, Tony Summerville. “With automatic odometer updates through NexTraq's integration, mutual customers get a huge productivity boost and confidence that preventative maintenance schedules are always triggered on time.”
