Q: How did the tool function as far as saving you time?
A: The tool worked well, and with the capability of attaching a vacuum to keep the majority of dust to a minimum, it saves time with less cleanup.
Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop's profitability?
A: With it being portable and not relying on an air supply and with less maintenance of an air compressor, along with less time during cleanup, you can expect a significant gain in turnaround time.
Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?
A: Simply charge the batteries and attach the needed sanding pad, and you are ready to work. If you need to use a standard shop vac, there is an attachment to do so.
Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?
A: It comes in a very nice hard plastic case with a selection of sanding pads to get you started.
Q: What features did you like?
A: I love the fact that it is cordless and you don't have to drag around an air hose or cart assembly.
Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?
A: This tool is very well designed, and since it comes with two batteries, it is excellent the way it is.
Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?
A: Sanding down panels to bare steel for painting work on a personal project. This also works well, sanding down filler material that was applied to panels to smooth out any small imperfections.
Q: Have you used a previous version of this tool? If so, what are some new features compared to the old version?
A: Yes, I have used a previous version, and it compares very similar to previous versions.
Q: Is there anything you had questions or concerns about in regards to the tool?
A: No, the tool is very self-explanatory on how to change settings and connect a cleaning system to the tool if you want near-dust-free operation.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?
A: I would rate this tool at a nine. The sander performs very well and saves weight by not having a hose hanging off of it. Plus, the added bonus of an included second battery is a very nice feature.
