The fabric has been tested for arc rated compliance.

Cementex, safety tool specialists, will showcase the company’s Battery Acid Resistant Task Wear at Battcon 2018, taking place April 22-25, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Cementex experts will be available in Booth No. 201 to discuss the acid-resistant fabric technology.

Cementex Battery Acid Resistant Fabric features a woven blend of fabrics that offer greater breathability and moisture management than any other products on the market, the company says. The Cementex Battery Acid Resistant Task Wear ensures that technicians stay cool, dry and more comfortable overall.

The task wear is available in 8, 26, and 40 cal/cm² configurations; the 26 cal/cm² clothing becomes 40 cal/cm² when worn atop the 8 cal/cm² Battery Acid Resistant Task Wear. These task wear options are available as coverall or coat/pant configurations in a variety of kit combinations and containers. These kits include the new premium 12 cal/cm² face shield and 40 cal/cm² arc flash hood featuring the new grey clear view lenses.

Cementex’s  fabric is strong, keeping fabric piling to a minimum, and has been tested for arc rated compliance. The task wear suits feature a secure closure that also provides access and rapid removal in the case of arc exposure. The suits also feature access and fit at the ankles, an elastic back coverall for ease of movement, anti-fog faceshields and comfortable knit wrist cuffs.

Available in sizes S-5X, the Cementex Battery Acid Resistant Task Wear meets current ASTM F1506 standards and current ASTM F1959/F1959M-99.

All Cementex products are made in the U.S.A.
