Application
The Power Probe PPAMP AMP Tip is designed for testing blower motors, radiator fans, headlight bulbs, starters, fuel pumps, etc., as a component health check or diagnosis.
Features and benefits
- Read maximum amperage value: Technicians can compare the running current value to the maximum value to see if contacts within components are failing, causing high amperage spikes and eventual part failures
- Read live time amperage value: It allows technicians to compare running amperage values to factory specifications as a component health check or wiring integrity/spec test
- Measure up to 20A and as low as 1mA: The PPAMP allows technicians to test most vehicle components with precise measurements.
Origin
This tool originated from the inability to read amperage values when bench testing components. This allows the user to have more information to make quicker, more efficient decisions to faster and more reliably diagnose problems with vehicle components.
