The newly updated European coverage for the Snap-on Software Bundle 13.2 includes the largest number of enhancements for BMW to date.

The newly updated European coverage for the Snap-on Software Bundle 13.2 includes the largest number of enhancements for BMW to date, including codes, data and tests for the parking brake (without which brake pads can’t be replaced); and factory-level tests to bi-directionally activate body control modules and HVAC components, just to name a few. In addition, the Snap-on optional European coverage is available for eight other European makes – Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Smart Car, Volkswagen and Volvo.

“A shop can lose high-profit European repairs because it takes too long to diagnose the problem and find the solution. The optional European coverage for Software Bundle 13.2 reduces the time it takes to diagnose the problem so technicians can get to the repair faster and help avoid a shop from losing business to the dealership down the street,” said Christopher Hockett, product manager, Snap-on Diagnostics.

Highlights of the Software Bundle 13.2 optional European coverage additions include, but are not limited to:

  • 2008 and newer BMW Parking Brake Codes, Data and Test
  • 2005 and newer BMW Body Control Modules and HVAC
  • Land Rover Automatic Transmission Adaption Reset
  • Volvo Steering Angle Modules
  • Mercedes-Benz Central Gateway Module

The new coverage in Snap-on Software Bundle 13.2 includes additional diagnostic capabilities for over 63 million vehicles on the road today, expanding repair shops’ service reach while fueling efficiency and productivity in the bay. Technicians can service more cars than ever before because the newest Snap-on diagnostic software upgrade offers 54,000 new codes, tests, tips and data going back to 1998 for all major makes, plus new 2012 domestic and Asian model year coverage for Acura, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Mitsubishi.
