The International Automotive Technicians Network (iATN) recently introduced two new public-facing websites: the main public site, www.iatn.net, to familiarize automotive service professionals with iATN, and a consumer- oriented site, autorepair.iatn.net, with a new Auto Repair Shop Finder to help consumers quickly locate an iATN facility from their desktop or mobile device.

“The main public site is clean and concise to show potential new members who we are and what we do, while the goal of the consumer-oriented website is to drive more consumer traffic to iATN member businesses, especially our Business Premium Members,” said Scott Brown, iATN president.

The Auto Repair Shop Finder, accessible from the “For Vehicle Owners” tab on the main iATN public website, features a geo- locator that can use a user’s physical location to find the nearest iATN member business, or consumers can input an address, city or zip code to easily locate a facility.

iATN Business Premium Members can customize their consumer-facing web pages on iATN to include contact information, an interactive Google® map, hours of operation, payment methods, services, a personalized welcome message, easy Facebook® integration, logos and images, and more.

iATN was founded in 1995 and is the largest online community of automotive technicians, repair shop owners and other allied service professionals in the world with more than 75,000 active members from 157 countries. iATN members exchange technical knowledge with their peers around the globe, collectively sharing over 1.7 million years of experience.

The iATN Mission of Excellence: To promote the continued growth, success and image of the professional automotive technician by providing a forum for the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of education, professionalism and integrity.
