Commercial vehicle solution provider, AXN Heavy Duty, announces that it has selected the Spectra Products Brake Safe system as its preferred solution for visual brake stroke indicators for use in both the OEM and aftermarket channels.

With greater awareness and need for easy and reliable pre-trip inspections, largely driven by CSA, visual stroke indicators are becoming more of the standard, than the exception.  The Brake Safe solution provides the industry's most reliable method for operators to ensure that brakes are within proper adjustment limits before every trip.

AXN Vice President of Sales, Jeff Hyatt stated, "Brake inspection is a basic requirement before every trip.  Without some type of indicator, operators cannot be confident of ensuring that all their brakes are within proper adjustment.  The Brake Safe system is a widely accepted solution, and one that is available on new vehicles from the OEM, as well as through the aftermarket for retrofit."

Additionally, Brake Safe offers a wide range of product to fit most air brake systems offered today for both trucks and trailers.

Andrew Malion, Spectra Products' Vice President Sales, commented, "Brake infractions are the number one 'out of service' violation in North America and the leading cause of brake infractions is out of adjustment brakes. We are very pleased to have AXN Heavy Duty offering our Brake Safe product to the OEM and Aftermarket channels."

With AXN stocking Brake Safe at its warehouse in Louisville, KY, its customers will now be able to add Brake Safe to their orders, and take advantage of combining freight for greater efficiency.
